We’re always grateful to see Lodges supporting the TLC Essex Appeal, but it's especially heartwarming when that support becomes ongoing and consistent.

Last year, I had the pleasure of attending Happy Hainault Lodge No. 4367, which meets at Chingford, to present them with a TLC Patron Certificate following a generous £500 donation.

This year, their commitment to the Appeal has gone even further.

Today, during a special visit by W.Bro Philip Lovelock, APGM, the Lodge was once again recognised for its charitable spirit. In front of the assembled Brethren, W.Bro Lovelock kindly presented the Worshipful Master, W.Bro Eric Husband, and the Lodge Charity Steward, W.Bro Paul James, with a Bronze Patron Certificate to mark another £500 donation—bringing their total to £1,000 and officially making them Bronze Patrons of the TLC Essex Appeal.

It was particularly meaningful to see W.Bro Paul James receive the certificate, not only in his role as Charity Steward but also as the Chingford Centre Representative for TLC Essex—a Brother who champions the Appeal both inside and outside of his Lodge.
