A warm thank you to the Brethren of the Lodge of Fraternity No. 5916, who meet at Saxon Hall, Southend, for their recent and generous support of the TLC Essex Appeal.
We are especially grateful to their Immediate Past Master, W.Bro Jay Persaud, who kindly nominated TLC Essex as the chosen beneficiary of his Master’s List charity donation—a gesture that reflects both thoughtfulness and a commitment to supporting those in need.
During my visit to the Lodge, I had the pleasure of presenting W.Bro Jay Persaud, on behalf of the Lodge, with a TLC Essex Patron Certificate in recognition of their £500 donation. This contribution officially makes Lodge of Fraternity a Patron of the Appeal, helping us continue to deliver teddy bears to children facing distress in A&E departments across Essex hospitals.
These small bears bring big comfort—turning fear into reassurance and helping young patients through difficult moments with a smile and something soft to hold. It’s only through donations like these that we can keep that work going.
Thank you, Brethren, and especially to W.Bro Jay Persaud, for your generosity and support. Your kindness will help hundreds of children when they need it most—and that’s something every member of the Lodge can be proud of.
Together, we're making a difference—one teddy at a time.
