A heartfelt thank you to the Brethren of Essex Masters Lodge No. 3256 and the trustees of its Harry Hoy Fund, who have made an outstanding donation of over £3,000 to the TLC Essex Appeal.

On Tuesday, I had the great pleasure of attending their meeting to present the Worshipful Master with a Silver Patron Certificate, recognising this incredible level of support. It was a proud moment for the Appeal and a fitting tribute to the generosity of the Lodge and the trustees.

I was honoured to be joined on the evening by RW Bro Rodney Bass, Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Nick Franklin, Deputy Provincial Grand Master, and W.Bro Dennis Baum, Past Master and trustee of the Harry Hoy Fund—all of whom are longstanding supporters of TLC Essex.

This remarkable donation is enough to keep one hospital fully stocked with TLC Teddies for around six months, ensuring that hundreds of children in distress receive a bear during some of their most challenging moments.

It’s inspiring to see a Lodge so deeply committed to charity and the wellbeing of others, and we are truly grateful for their ongoing support. On behalf of all those children who will be comforted because of this donation—thank you, Essex Masters Lodge.
