A heartfelt thank you to the Worshipful Master and Brethren of Barnaby Rudge Lodge No. 8589, who meet at Harlow, for their recent £500 donation to the TLC Essex Appeal.
This generous contribution officially makes Barnaby Rudge Lodge Patrons of the Appeal, and their support will have a real and immediate impact. In fact, their donation will fund almost 250 TLC teddy bears—enough to keep Princess Alexandra Hospital supplied for approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
Each of those teddies will go to a child in distress in the hospital’s A&E department, helping to bring comfort, calm, and reassurance in what can be an overwhelming or frightening situation. It’s a small gesture with a big effect—and thanks to the generosity of Lodges like Barnaby Rudge, we’re able to continue this vital work.
It’s always inspiring to see Lodges across Essex turning their commitment to charity into meaningful action. The Brethren of Barnaby Rudge Lodge have not only upheld the Masonic values of compassion and care but have directly contributed to making a difference in their local community.
Thank you, Brethren, for your support, generosity, and for helping us continue our mission—one teddy at a time.
