A big thank you to W.Bro Paul Scothern, Worshipful Master of Loxford Lodge No. 5621, and all the Brethren at Upminster, for their warm welcome and generous support during our recent visit.

Big Ted and I were delighted to be there in person to receive a £500 donation to the TLC Essex Appeal, a gift that immediately qualified Loxford Lodge as official Patrons of the Appeal.

It was my pleasure to present the Lodge with their TLC Essex Patron Certificate during the meeting—a small token of appreciation for a donation that will have a big impact. Their support will help us continue providing TLC teddy bears to children in hospital A&E departments across Essex, helping to bring comfort, calm, and a much-needed smile during moments of anxiety and distress.

It’s always heartening to see Lodges not only embracing the values of Freemasonry inside the Lodge room but also putting them into action in the wider community. Loxford Lodge has done just that.
