Big Ted and I were delighted to accept an invitation from W.Bro Chris Hicks, PJGD, ProvGChStwd to visit Thomas Ralling Lodge No. 2508 at Loughton, where we had the honour of presenting the Lodge with a TLC Essex Patron Certificate.
The presentation marked their generous £500 donation to the Appeal—support that will go directly towards providing TLC bears to children in A&E departments across Essex, offering comfort in moments of fear and uncertainty.
The evening was made even more special by the initiation of Bro. Daniel Bouariu, who was welcomed into the Craft in a warm and well-conducted ceremony. It’s always a pleasure to witness the start of a new Brother’s Masonic journey, and Bro. Daniel’s initiation was clearly a proud moment for everyone involved.
The Lodge’s support for TLC Essex highlights the continued commitment of Freemasons across the Province to not only uphold our traditions but to actively engage with charitable work that makes a real difference in the community.
Thank you once again to W.Bro Chris Hicks, the Worshipful Master, and all the Brethren of Thomas Ralling Lodge for their hospitality, generosity, and for making Big Ted and me feel so welcome. We’re proud to count you among our growing family of TLC Essex Patrons.
Here’s to more initiations, more support—and more teddies delivered with care.
