Today, I had the pleasure of visiting W.Bro George Ketley and his fantastic team—Laila Karim, Jessica Hollidge, Poppy Black, and Claire Maloney—at St George’s Pest Control Ltd in East Hanningfield, to personally thank them for their incredible support of the TLC Essex Appeal.

In December 2024, George made a generous commitment on behalf of his company, pledging to donate £1,000 every year to the Appeal. Their first donation, received just before Christmas, immediately qualified them as Bronze Patronsof the TLC Essex Appeal.

It was a pleasure to meet the team behind the pledge and express our appreciation for their long-term commitment. Donations like theirs make a real difference to children facing distress in A&E departments across Essex. Every teddy funded helps bring comfort, calm, and a sense of safety to a child in need—often during one of the most frightening moments of their young lives.

What makes this even more special is that this support isn’t a one-time gesture—it’s a lasting partnership that ensures we can plan ahead and keep the Appeal going strong into the future.
