TLC Essex would like to extend a big thank you to the Southend Masonic Golf Society for their generous support of the TLC Teddies Appeal.
Last year’s Captain, W.Bro Craig Reynolds, ProvDepGDC, kindly invited me to attend the Society’s end-of-year celebratory dinner and awards evening, marking the conclusion of another successful golfing season. The event was a wonderful opportunity for members to come together, celebrate their achievements on the course, and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
After an enjoyable evening — which included a delicious Italian meal — the Society presented their charitable donations for the year. I was delighted to learn that TLC Essex had been chosen as one of the beneficiaries, with a generous £500 donation being made in support of the appeal.
Donations like this make a real difference. Every contribution helps ensure that TLC Teddies continue to be available in hospitals across Essex, where doctors and nurses use them to comfort children during what can often be frightening or distressing moments.
A single teddy bear may seem like a small thing, but to a child receiving treatment or facing an emergency visit to hospital, it can provide reassurance, comfort, and something to hold onto when they need it most.
The generosity of groups such as the Southend Masonic Golf Society helps ensure that these bears are always available when they are needed.
Our sincere thanks go to Craig and all the members of the Southend Masonic Golf Society for their kindness and continued support.
Thank you, brethren. 👏
