At TLC Essex, we’ve always believed that small gestures—like giving a teddy bear to a child in distress—can make a big difference. Now, we’re proud to share a brand-new initiative that takes that ethos even further.
We’ve joined forces with another inspiring Essex Freemasons-supported charity, Get Started Art, to launch a beautiful new TLC Activity Book. Designed to raise vital funds and lift young spirits, the book is filled with colouring pages, puzzles, word searches, and crosswords, and each one comes with its own set of crayons. It’s more than just a book—it’s a beacon of calm and comfort.
The TLC bears continue to offer reassurance to children facing trauma in A&E departments, while Get Started Art supplies activity sheets, art therapy books, and creative resources to hospitals, clinics, and care homes across the UK. Together, we’re bringing both comfort and creativity to those who need it most.
David Barton, founder of Get Started Art, said:
“We’re delighted to create this book for such an incredible cause. TLC is truly inspirational.”
TLC Essex Chairman, Paul Reeves, added:
“Working with Get Started Art has been a joy. This project shows how Freemasons across Essex are helping people of all ages in meaningful, tangible ways.”
With the help of the wider Masonic community, our combined reach now extends far beyond Essex—bringing hope, healing, and a splash of colour to children across the world.
Thank you for your support.
