On 19th January 2024, Westcliff Chapter No. 2903 made a significant mark in the history of the TLC Essex Appeal by becoming the first Chapter in Essex to achieve Patron status. 

This was made possible through their generous donation of £500, reflecting their unwavering commitment to charitable endeavors and community support. The celebration of this milestone continued on 27th March 2024, when Very Worshipful Brother Paul Reeves, Chairman of the TLC Essex Appeal, paid a surprise visit to the Companions at their Festive Board. Despite his prior engagement dining with a Lodge next door, VW.Bro Paul took the opportunity to personally present the Principals of Westcliff Chapter with a Patron Certificate. This gesture not only acknowledged their significant contribution but also highlighted the Chapter's dedication to the appeal.

W.Bro John Bond, the TLC Centre Representative for Southend & Rochford and a proud member of Westcliff Chapter, had earlier addressed the Companions during their meeting. He expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the TLC Essex Appeal, emphasizing the profound impact of their generous donation.
